Abstract: Social wellbeing depends critically on access to reasonably priced healthcare; the Ayushman Bharat Yojana (ABY) seeks to give financially needy groups in India financial security. Particularly in rural and low-income areas, disparities in awareness, enrolment, and service use still exist despite general adoption. This mixed-method research utilising quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews assesses Ayushman Bharat Yojana (ABY) awareness, enrolment, healthcare accessibility, and financial effect in Haryana. Although 92% of respondents are aware of ABY, only 57% have registered; main obstacles including eligibility uncertainty, documentation complexity, and budgetary limits, especially among rural and low-income groups, show the results. According to statistical study, awareness is much influenced by residence and education; income level is mostly important for enrolment. Although there is little participation, just 22.2% of recipients make use of ABY services; inpatient treatment is more often used than outpatient ones. A t-test study shows a notable drop in out-of-pocket medical costs, but insufficient knowledge of coverage benefits keeps perceptions of financial security poor. To increase ABY's efficacy and accessibility, the study suggests improved rural healthcare facilities, simpler enrolment procedures, and more focused outreach activities.
