A step towards evaluation of start-Ups: A review of literature (1994-2023)

Abstract: The Present paper reviews the literature for evaluation of start-ups from 1994 to 2023. The Major objective of the present paper is to review the literature related to various factors affecting the evaluation of start-ups. Building a start-up consists of various factors like availability of funds, target audience, technology and infrastructure etc. The study of factors and various aspects of startups is a need of hour to bring objectivity and investment in these start-ups. The studies concluded that the funding is a major concern for start-ups and small businesses. With funding many other aspects including sustainability, stress, venture capitalist selection etc. are equally important to be studied in relation to evaluation of start-ups.
