Author(s): Hasanain Hamid Salman Maqsoosee
Abstract: The current research aims to examine the extent of the impact of Total Quality Management (TQM) on sustainable development within the Ministry of Oil. The significance of this study stems from the prevailing trend among many organizations to adopt advanced management systems that align with the demands of the fast-paced and competitive globalized era. The study addresses the problem of identifying the degree to which TQM is practiced in Iraqi public institutions, relying on data collected from the Ministry of Oil as a case study. Using the descriptive-analytical approach, and after analyzing data from a sample of 220 individuals, quantitative analyses revealed a statistically significant relationship between TQM and sustainability. This indicates that implementing TQM principles can enhance sustainability within the studied context. Based on the conclusions, the researcher proposed several recommendations, most notably the need to direct research toward analytical studies to understand how TQM implementation can be improved and integrated with sustainability strategies.
