Real-time prediction of online shoppers' purchase intent

Abstract: In recent years, with the strong development of 4.0 technology and the Internet, with the convenience of technological devices, anywhere, people can surf the Web, access the latest information. In commerce, news about prices is always updated. Moreover, online transactions and purchases today thanks to 4.0 Technology have become easier, people tend to explore online to find the items they need and buy through online transactions. The above has created a truly booming new business market, which is the online shopping market. The boom in online shopping has created the momentum to help the online shopping market gradually expand in scale and quality. Anticipating this need of the majority of users, businesses have begun to conduct research to discover the purchasing intentions of people on online shopping sites to find out the intentions and desires to buy a product expressed by users in posts, comments on social networks, and page visits. Customers' purchasing intentions can be predicted by analyzing customer history. Data on online shopping behavior has been analyzed to build a classification model to predict their purchasing intentions. The results help businesses predict whether a customer, visiting the website of an online store, will make a purchase or not. The utility of this brings many other values such as helping users find goods, products and services at the right address in the fastest time, through predicting their behaviors. The above research has been receiving special attention because of its significant impact. Based on the research paper Real-Time Prediction of Online Shoppers' Purchasing Intention Using Random Forest by Karim Baati and Mouad Mohsil. The group hopes that this result will help businesses manage the risk of customers hesitating while deciding to buy and predict whether they will return to continue shopping. From there, expand the technology model and improve it so that it can not only be applied in the field of online shopping but also contribute to building a truly strong and modern economy.
