The role of distance intelligence in achieving job maturity: An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of employees at Al-dour technical institute

Abstract: This research aims to examine the role of distance intelligence through its three dimensions (Active listening, verbal and non-verbal fluency, and understanding social roles and rules) in achieving job maturity, which is measured by (Career planning, decision-making ability, shaping work-related attitudes, and achieving excellence) among employees at Al-Dour Technical Institute, the study site. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology and collected data from the research sample using a questionnaire to obtain data and information. Various statistical methods were applied using SPSS 26, with 40 questionnaires distributed, of which 33 were valid for analysis, while 7 were excluded. The research findings revealed a strong positive correlation and significant impact between distance intelligence and job maturity among employees at Al-Dour Technical Institute. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most notable being delegating more authority and responsibilities to employees, which enhances distance intelligence, improves organizational interaction, and fosters a culture of active listening to employees' opinions, ultimately leading to higher levels of job maturity.
