Moonlighting in human resource management: Its impact on employee well-being

Abstract: Moonlighting, the practice of concurrently holding multiple jobs, has become a more common occurrence in the contemporary workforce. This research analyses moonlighting in Human Resource Management (HRM), investigating its different forms and effects on employee well-being. The study examines the motivational elements driving moonlighting, its potential advantages and problems for employees and employers, and solutions for organisations to effectively manage its ramifications. The paper utilises an extensive literature review methodology to examine the topic.
