Abstract: This study examines the link between employee job attitudes and organizational effectiveness. Job attitudes- comprising three components- cognitive, affective, and behavioural, are crucial for understanding and predicting workplace behavior and significantly influence organizational performance. The study focuses on three key job attitudes: job satisfaction, job involvement, and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction, reflecting an employee's emotional response to their job, is influenced by factors like comparison processes, social comparisons, and job context. Job involvement indicates the degree to which an individual psychologically identifies with their work. Organizational commitment, encompassing an employee's attachment to the organization, can be categorized into affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Organizational effectiveness, a multidimensional concept, encompasses various aspects of organizational performance. In this study organizational effectiveness has been evaluated through different models, including, the goal model (Achievement of goals), the systems model (Interrelated subsystems), the process model (Goal optimization and human behaviour), and the strategic constituencies model (Satisfying stakeholders).
