Various forms of diversification available in agriculture of Haryana: An analysis

Abstract: Haryana is rich state known for its contribution in Indian Economy. Farmers of Haryana also have good socio-economic status as compared to other state of India. Farmers of Haryana are also not hesitating to adopt new forms of agriculture to enhance their farms income. Government of Haryana is also initiated the change and prepare their plan and policies according to the need of coming agri-generation. The purpose of this review is to compile all useful research done on different aspects of scientific farming and different form of diversification, available to shift from agriculture to agribusiness. The study taken in to consideration 39 publications from different Journals, out of which only 25 found closely related with the topic of research. The research found that there are many forms of diversification available, but either on introductory stage or on growing stage. Farmers are still not adopted new form of agriculture because of lack of knowledge, lack of skills, non availability of markets, high cost of infrastructure etc. Government of Haryana continuous works to solve the related issue through various schemes, programmes, plans and policies.
