Author(s): Bindu S and Sr. Cathelina

Abstract: This research centre on evaluating the financial literacy levels of employed women in Karnataka. Its core objective is to foster a more in-depth and insightful understanding of the issue, thereby contributing to broader economic development through improved growth potential. A structured questionnaire was distributed among working women in selected districts of Karnataka to obtain precise and dependable data on their financial awareness. Analysis of the responses revealed that women's financial literacy is shaped by their knowledge, behaviour, and attitudes toward finances. The study found that many women still lack sufficient familiarity with financial planning tools and techniques. It also investigated various factors, including financial attitudes, and highlighted the critical knowledge women need to make sound long-term financial decisions.
