An empirical analysis of the emergence of unemployment growth as a new phenomenon

Abstract: One of the economic circumstances referred to as "unemployment growth" is when the overall economy grows without creating more job possibilities. The Indian economy has been in a terrible situation lately, with employment growth declining in spite of more economic progress. According to economic study, India's GDP growth rate has considerably accelerated in recent years, while the employment growth rate has been constant. This demonstrates unequivocally the dangers of a structural change in the job landscape in the future years, which would be a major problem for the Indian economy if it materialized. Evaluating the impact of growing unemployment on the Indian economy is the aim of the current study. The purpose of the study is to investigate and ascertain how India's unemployment, poverty, and inequality rates are affected by growing unemployment. Because of the very low employment rates, rising unemployment has been expected.
