Abstract: Organizational culture is very important for how well employees do their jobs, especially in banking, where productivity and engagement are what make a company successful. This research study analyses the impact of organizational culture on employee performance in select private banks in Afghanistan. A thorough examination of the research reveals crucial cultural determinants-such as leadership, communication, and employee empowerment-that influence performance outcomes. It also points out the inadequacies in the current literature, especially when it comes to Afghanistan's culture and economy. The results indicate the imperative for culturally attuned strategies to augment staff performance in private banking institutions. This review adds to the body of research on organizational culture and gives bank managers and policymakers useful information.
