Ai based talent acquisition and workforce analytics in HR management

Author(s): S Arokia Punitha

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized human resource management by automating recruitment, enhancing decision-making, and enabling predictive workforce analytics. This study examines how AI tools such as machine learning algorithms, chatbots, and predictive models are reshaping talent acquisition and employee management in Indian organizations. The research aims to identify the benefits, challenges, and ethical implications of AI integration in HR practices. Data were collected from 120 HR professionals across diverse sectors through a structured questionnaire. Statistical analysis revealed that AI adoption significantly improves recruitment efficiency, reduces human bias, and strengthens employee retention strategies. However, issues related to data privacy, algorithmic transparency, and employee acceptance persist. The paper concludes that sustainable AI adoption in HRM requires balancing technological advancement with ethical responsibility, transparency, and human oversight to ensure equitable and effective workforce management.
