Abstract: The marine industry is rapidly undergoing operational, technological, and regulatory change on a global scale. In light of IMO [ ] regulations, technological disruptions, national reforms, and changes in the global labour market, India's maritime education and training (MET) systems will be under increasing pressure over the next ten years to improve quality, integrate cutting-edge technologies, meet global compliance requirements, and provide industry-ready seafarers and maritime higher education. It provides important suggestions for classification bodies, ship owners, training facilities, policymakers, and maritime administration.
